So my master cylinder went on my 1990 Rex si and I was thinking of doing a big brake upgrade and judging by what I see online it would make the most sense for me to obtain a set of 90-91 civic sedan ex knuckles and install them. I would typically go to the wreckers here to get one but in Canada there was no such model as the civic ex sedan.

Where is a reputable wrecker in the Montana Idaho region that I can go to get these? I am hesitant to change any parts on my car unless I know I have the complete setup to finish the job.

For the fellow Canadians in the forum: was it difficult to get replacement parts for the front brakes after the conversion? I would hate to have to go the US to buy pads/rotors or calipers every time I needed brake work done.

What is the best course of action I should take to quickly get what I need to get my Rex up and running again?

i see them once in a while in the junkyards in california. its such a bother to take them off i dont even think twice about trying. just not worth the money.

just look for DA knuckles.

or just stick with OEM. theres no need to go bigger.

 

Are you serious. Most of the junkyards in socal I've been to not once have I seen an EX trim.
