Default is this seller asking for too much?? spa yellow s2000

2001 Spa Yellow S2000 in excellent condition. Clean title. Runs awesome.

The paint is in excellent condition with exceptions of a few small dings (removable of course, hardly noticeable). Interior is in great condition. Everything is stock except for suspension ( upgraded ground control coilvers), height is just slightly lower than (0.8inch lowered) stock for awesome handling and ride comfort. The top has been upgraded to a glass window OEM HONDA Top, compeltely new top from honda installed just 6months ago. Stock polished 5spoke rims in excellent condition with 205/55/16 fronts (90%tread) and 225/50/16 Rears (95% tread) continental extremes. Engine runs strong and no issues, handles better than others I seen with half of my mileage. Current mileage is 159k miles, but this car looks like it has less than 50kmiles and runs better than most s2ks with 50k miles. Everything works as it should. AC blows cold, heater is hot when needed. Clutch and tranny shifts great. You won't be dissapointed. All Maintenance performed with geunine HONDA parts ( spark plugs, radiator hoses, coolant flush, differential, clutch, engine oil). Never abused.

Price $10,300

So my thoughts, I checked out the kellys blue book price and under excelent condition with that mileage it goes for around $7,800!! What do you guys think is a good offering price with what was mentioned about the car?? oh and the pictures he posted do look like its in great condition

thanks

I have an 01 y52p s2k, and i think thats a fair price depending on location. I paid 12.5 after tax for mine a year ago, but it does't have the nice glass top and it didn't have the maintenance that this one does, but mine only had 70k when i picked it up

depending on how it drives, i'd say its worth it. Pay the extra money for a clean one because the abused ones are expensive to fix.

Sorry but this car is 10 years old AND has 160k miles. I would not pay over $8500 for this. My opinion only tho

Don't like the price and the seller won't negotiate? Move on to another car. Asking Honda-Tech is not going to help.

If you are comfortable spending 10k on it, then spend 10k. If it's not worth that much to you then shuffle along. You know what the KBB value is - you can also check the NADA and Edmunds ratings too.

Thats a little much + people dont put coilovers or that kind of mileage on a vehicle that was "never abused"

I'd Pass.

CDN to USD conversion is 1:1 more or less or in the favor of the Canadians now...

Any Clean Title S2000 in running condition is worth 10,000$ probably. Especially since the AP2's with their V6's have started to show how unreliable they are.

I went to reply to you with a snarky semi-rude comment and then I read your signature. Well played sir, well played.

To the OP. Blue book is not very accurate on the S2000, especially when it gets older, that being said, I wouldn't pay that much. The car will probably sell in the 9's. I'd keep looking, there are deals to be found.
