hey i have searched everywhere and having really found what i am looking for..
i have a gsr swap in my DA. i have had idle issues for a very long time now. when the car is cold it starts and idles prefectly around 900. but as soon as the car is warm it will not try to idle at all. every light and stop sign it dies. doesnt bounce around when i start it or anything it will just start and drop and die. ive cleaned the FITV the IACV and still it did nothing. ive relpaced the IACV after and it seemed like i wased my money cause it did nothing. i was driving with the pcv valve out so i had a vacumm leak so it would at least idle but it would be really high. (anywhere from 2000-3000). I have no CEL codes or anything and when it drives it runs great no problems. just will not idle at all. any sudestions?

 

Have you done any tune ups besides changing the IACV and cleaning the FITV. Have you changed spark plugs/wires. Have you checked your timing?

 

yes i have a new cap and rotor and new spark plugs. water pump and timing belt were done about 5000 km ago and it was all tdc. i got my buddie to do the belt cause he said it has to be perfect and you cant **** it up or you will bend valves. he works at a shop so i trust he did it properly and it doesnt run like **** when it drives. it drives perfect. just wont try to idle at all. no bouncing, nothing. just drops. it idled before the timing belt change but it was at 3 grand. when i cleaned the FITV it dropped from 3000 to 1000 and i thought it was all good but the motor was cold. it always idles perfect when its cold and as soon as it warms up it will not even try to hold an idle.
