Default Question about larger sway bars.

Let me start off saying that i did in fact search for almost an hour without finding the answer to my question. If the question has been posted and I did not see it I apologize.

Ok here is the deal. I have a 99 Integra LS 2door. I am currently trying to replace the LCAs (function & form), 24mm sway bar, and am also installing an ASR sub frame brace.

My first question is this: Is my larger sway bar going to tear my sub frame out even with the brace installed?

The second question is: does anyone have pictures of their Integra/Civic/Del Sol with the ASR sub-frame brace/sway bar combo installed?

If so would you please be so kinds to post them for me or PM them to me? I really want to make sure that I am doing this correctly and safely as i wioll be driving the car every day.

I can take pictures of anything that anyone might need to see.

Thank you,

-Garrett

You will have zero risk of tearout if you properly install the ASR brace.

Here's a how-to with the pics you asked for:

lol not sure how your search missed this :p

I did the 24mm ASR Bar/Brace on my DC2...was a little much in my opinion, just went to the 22mm ITR bar and prefer it over the ASR...and it was like a 3rd of the price.

Not flaming ASR though, great product...looks amazing.

What was "too much" about it? Oversteer?

Yessir...wasn't disgustingly horrible or anything.

However its a total preference thing...right now I sport the 98 spec 25mm front and 22mm USDM ITR...perfectly neutral, feels great.

Edit: As far as cost breakdown...I can't justify paying $80 more for the ASR, however the adjustability (is thats even a word) probably suits track guys well. My cars a DD, so the USDM ITR bar works great.

Good to know. I prefer a more neutral feel.
