Icon2 swapped cluster for VP EM2

i have the VP (value package) trim level of the em2, and if you no anything about it it doesnt come with a tach (or vtec ) only a fuel guage thermostat and speedometer =(. so i was wondering if i could just get a cluster out of a ex or dx etc. and just swap it in. the thing is i dont no if there are harnesses for a tach etc. and i dont feel like pulling it all apart to see if there is until i have another cluster.

There is no gauge for Vtech on the EX cluster, you can simply use your ears. There are DIYs for swapping clusters, look there for your answer.

Well, to be honest, "Vtech" is a phone manufacturer.

VP Civics do not have VTEC at all, considering the EX (Canadian Si) models are the only ones with a VTEC engine in them (D17A2).

Search. I'm certain this has been covered before, but you're going to have to do your own searching this time.

Make sure you put quotation marks before and after your search keyword(s). "cluster" for example. Search thread titles in this forum vs. entire posts.

This is one of the first mods I did on my VP. All you have to do is get a 2001 to 2002 LX EM2 Cluster and swap it. It's a no hassle plug and play. Try to get one thats close to your actual mileage. Have fun.
