Default Rear shocks changed and still swerving severely.

I just changed my rear shocks today and my front ones a few days ago, and someone on here said that my rear shocks being bad will cause my car to swerve from side to side, i mentioned that the only thing left on my entire suspension system are the rear tie rod ends and rear lower ball joints. . is this why im still swerving???

Well, my '95 Prizm LSi was doing the same til I changed out the rear shocks, and it stopped doing it. You can replace the rear endlinks as they're not rear tie-rod(no such thing).

Have you get it aligned though?? It may help fix it too.

There are if he's 4WS, which he hasn't specified.

Anyway, next step would be an alignment check. Firestone does free checks. They may also discover some other issues. It's pretty much their job to find other things for you to spend money on. Just don't let them do any repairs beyond the alignment

At this point I have to ask the obvious and stupid question: Are there front and rear sway bars installed on the car? As in are they physically there on the vehicle? Check if the endlinks are in working order as well. I've personally sheared off an endlink in my old accord from regular driving

okay well i have tried to take it to get it alligned a couple times and they keep telling me new things to replace, this last time it was the rear lower ball joints and tie rods or end links, my prelude is not the 4ws model, and yes there are sway bars, but i have tried doing an allignment on my own by marking lines and adjusting the outer tie rods but it seems to just go back out of allign. And to also specify, i have replaced front and rear upper control arms, every other suspension piece up front accept bushings and sway bars. These are other possibilities for the swerving to?

are you driving in concrete roads? Here in colorado they switched to a grooved concrete roads and the grooves in the road cause my prelude to feel like its all over the road! It does it to my suburban when I get above like 65mph too.. thats a 6k lbs truck... freaking cheap states
