b18C eg CEL problem.
alrite so i swaped in a JDM b18C(GSR) got every thing hook up and running. been driving the car for a wile but all of a suddin i get a code 23knocksensor) so i went about and fixed that problum. now i get a code 43( fuel dilivery) so i started playing with that code, i changed wires, plugs, 02, and fuel filter. i got the code to go away, then 23 comes back so i fixed that(wire poped out of ECU so i re pined it) but now code 43 is back...... what kind of octane should a JDM b18C be running on?
any ideas on what could be wrong. maybe the two codes are linked somehow,

lets poke at the fuel delivery. Have you changed the fuel filter? It could be a bad regulator in turn the O2 would pick up lean or rich.....with that being said the O2 could be an issue as well. Found this thread about code 43 its seems hit and miss with the O2 but its something to read. In my opinion I would rock premium fuel (depending on the area 91, 93, etc..)

I have the same car, same swap. It depends on what ECU you are running. I have a P30 chipped ECU running on Chrome. I put regular gas in it and I have no problems....but then again I had my car tuned at Speed Factory. See if you can get a Tune. It should help.
