Default EF8 electrical help

This is with USDM tail lights:
Signal to the right in my EF8 makes a weird noise on cluster and does not signal at all in rear.
Center rear garnish does not light up at all.
And when head light, flash for high beam, turns passenger side light off and driver side is NOT on high beam.

I do have actual JDM tail lights with the pig tails intact. Are they easy to match up to USDM wiring?

Any suggestions?

center garnish is NOT supposed to light up. it is strictly a reverse light and a rear fog light if you have that option. i would start by checking the dash wiring and headlight switch connectors and the actual switch itself.

All lights in back work but when I hit the brakes, nothing.

Checked fuses and brake light switch intact.

How does one run a new wire from tails to brake light switch?

What is the weird noise you describe? Is it flashing and clicking at double the usual speed and your rear signal light doesn't work? Is the bulb burnt?

Center garnish does not light up, just the back up lights when you are in reverse, is that what you meant doesn't light up?

Not really sure about your headlight issue. Usually it's the other way around for some cars, if you have a burnt headlight you switch to high beams and both high beams work. This sounds like the exact opposite.

As for JDM tailights with pigtails and matching up to USDM wiring you should be able to tell by looking at your harnesses. Does your JDM tail light harness plug in to the receiving end? It's as simple as that. Even if the connectors are cut a simple wiring diagram should be enough to solve it or show you how to wire it.

What exactly is going on here anyway, an EF8 is a Japanese spec CR-X SiR and you have USDM wiring and tail lights... What car do you have?

You shouldn't need to run a wire right from your brake switch to the tail light by the way, even if it is the wire, you need to determine if it's a wire in your tail light harness or body harness that's faulty.
