So today I drained the fluid, flushed with water. Then added the flush and water and drove around for 15 minutes with the heater on and full blast.. I noticed bubbles from the top. Is it cracked? And can i or should I JB weld it right there for a temp fix? Advice greatly appreciated thanks!

Mine was doing the same thing i just replaced it. Cost me about 70 bucks and took an hour or so to install.

 

its gone. Jb weld wont do anything. The crack will just continue. Time to replace it...

 

You flushed the gunk that was probably sealing it in the first place... Just replace it.

In the event of an emergency if you were stuck somewhere, you could use an egg or black pepper in the radiator to help seal the crack.

 

Always wanted to try the egg trick.

 

My buddy did it when he overheated when we were on a camping trick, got him home 150miles away

 

Thanks for the extra tips as well. I just ordered a radiator last night and was tuning this up for a camping trip in 5 days so if I can't replace it in time I will use the egg trick if it cracks on the way there or back.

Will report back if I use the trick by the way.
