New to H-T Acura owner.
This is my first post on this site. Im am not new to hondas, I have owned a few. I started out with a 1997 Accord and messed around with it but didnt like it to much.Second came a 1994 Del sol si that was fun. Third came the 1992 Integra that was a very nice car but it wasnt the best for me. Fourth was a mint 1986 Civic si hatch that was dope but was slow and there wasnt much offered as far as performance goes and I didnt want to swap it because it was to nice to ruin. That brings me to now. I bought this 1995 Integra GS-R from a girl that had beat it into the ground and I felt like saving it. When I bought it the front fenders and front and rear bumpers were primer black and the hood was green. The factory gs-r motor was missing and in its place was a b18b1. First thing I did was paint the mismatch panels except for the hood (still working on that). Polished the valve cover. Cleaned a pound of dirt off of everything. Installed some Konig Heliums and sprayed them white. Got some ebay amber corners as the factory ones were not on it at all. Cleaned and cleaned for a week solid. Still to come is a full respray in phonix yellow, Type R wing and some more dress up parts. Then im just going to drive it and enjoy it. Let me know what you think. Im trying to find the picture of the day I brought it home so you can see what condition it was in.
Looking forward to seeing the 'before' pics. Congrats on the purchase and good on you for rescuing an abused automobile. Now you just gotta find yourself a B18C!
Finding a b18c for the right price is on my list of to do. I just want to know who thought it was a good idea to put that motor in it in the first place. It runs great but gahh I want VVVVTTTTEEECCC! lol.
Here is how my da integra ended up looking like. As you can tell I like white on white and simplicity. Found the picture today and thought I would add it for you guys.
