advice on power window repair (odyssey)
The passenger side power window motor on my 03 Odyssey requires replacement. This is the first time for me (vehicle only has 37k miles)
I plan to order parts from an online source and self repair. I found a good source for OEM regulator with motor (Majestic Honda), but I found other parts suppliers that sell motor separately (aftermarket). Assuming regulator is not damaged, is there any reason spend the extra $$ to replace? (I plan to inspect regulator before ordering)
Thanks!

Bash it with a rock. it will fix it.
as far as regulator assembly goes, it is worth it to replace the regulator and motor. the odysees are a bolt in assembly. it takes around an hour to pull the door pannel and replace the glass. no specialty tools (only metric if you ever worked on domestic since the beginning of time). mind screws, bolts, and covers. the most common thing i see is on CRV speaker replacement there is a bolt under the handle on the inside. honda does well to hide bolts and screws. you will also have pop clips.
