my buddy has a d15b jdm vtec head that needs new valve seals and spring and was considering buying it and rebuilding but my question is would it be worth the money to buy this for 45 dollars and rebuild it or buy a z6 head?

ive read alot about the mini me swaps id like to have the jdm vtec head but also the z6 performs alot better.. im kinda stumped

so would it be worth 45 bucks buying the head and rebuilding it...i was doing some research last night and really want a b swap but it would take me forever to save my money get a motor and tranny

 

i swear they should make a rule to post up LINKS or specific facts to where you found your info. a d15b head is exactly identical to a z6 head! heads dont give you more torque WTF... if your talking about a 1.5 jdm d15 vs 1.6 d16z6 it has more torque because of displacement/bigger crank but pretty much same thing.
