im in the process of starting a all motor street/strip car. H2B set up inside a 1989 hatchback. Now i have been throwing the idea around about ITBs. but my questions is i know its a tight fit inside these cars with anything and everything
so my question is this does anybody have pictures of how close the H22 intake mani is to the fire wall.
OR even better would be is somebody has done ITB's w/ a H in a EF im looking for as much info as i can before i start this.
if i have to beat back the firewall a little bit im not to worried about that just dont want to hace no room at all for the intake in the car.

this site has everything you would need to know about a H swap into an EF. According to their measurements with THEIR mounts put the TPS is about 3/8" from the firewall, def super close.
Hope this helps.

If a regular intake manifold will work individual throttle bodies will work. I highly advise against them though for any car that has the word street in it... Especially if you plan to use any EFI, you will be just as fast and more reliable with a regulat plenumn intake. Not to mention have better response for street driving. (Personally, I think the H22 is for straight line racing only and should stay out of street swaps, just my opinion.)
