Default FS: 97 Accord SE - project car?

Up for sale is a 1997 Accord SE with a blown engine.
I hydrolocked the engine and got it to run but spun a bearing and eventually blew a hole in the block
The car itself has about 147k miles on it, but it ran great until the break down…
I have most of the receipts I got since I’ve had the car but I haven’t done much at all.
As far as the interiors and the exteriors go, I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

I've had this car since the summer of 2006 and as a high school/college student; I pretty much just used it as a commuter vehicle. Pretty much everything is stock except a few things:
• Pioneer DEH-590ib Premier
• Audiobahn Speakers (nothing really special. 50W in the front and 75W in the rear)
• Amber corner lenses
• Manual conversion (explained below)

I did the conversion myself in August 2010. I know I’m not a professional mechanic but it was done after almost 2 years of research and as a mechanical engineering student with experience in formula SAE, I think I know what I’m doing for the most part (except electrical stuff if you ask me). Fortunately, my basic knowledge in electronics got me through simple wirings.
Here are some of the main components:
• P2U5 Transmission
• 3 (front, rear, trans side) genuine Honda motor mounts filled with 2 part polyurethane
• Genuine Honda transmission fluid
• O’reilly’s left axle with warranty (I have the receipt)
• 96 Prelude Exedy OEM clutch kit – got it brand new from ebay
• Exedy mc, sc, fw (oem spec – 22lb.?)
• Direct clutch line from mc to sc – parts purchased from summit racing.
• 96 Prelude Shifter (just the shifter piece not the bracket mounted to the chassis)

If you’d like more detailed info, I can send you my excel sheet with all the links for all the hardware and parts.

The transmission is in an okay condition. When driving normal/soft, it doesn’t grind but if you try to shift quick enough, the second and the third syncro grinds. Also I’m 90% sure the input shaft bearings are worn out. Clutch feels great tho. I can’t guarantee there will be no burn marks but if you decide to reuse them, it should last for another good car life depending on you driving style. Besides the engine itself, PS and A/C work great.

Basically this is a rolling chassis. Once again, it has not been in an accident. I will provide the VIN upon request. I think this accord still has some potential. This is my first car and I loved it. I hate to let it go but I really don’t have time and money to fix it and try to get it going again.
This could be a nice and cheap daily with another F22B2 and minor repairs since it has a CEL for Evap system issues. Or someone could put in a H22/K24 and make it a weekend beater or build a nice CD5!

Asking $1000 OBO. Title in hand and I’m willing to have it towed at my expense if it’s sold locally. I’m locate in Norman, OK 73072.

If you have any questions or would like more specific pictures, please feel free to email me at fastshift@live.com
