Default 25$ Ignition Modules on ebay?

My low boost issue last weekend at CMS was a simple distributor housing grounding issue. But I'm still running into some issues while trying to run at full boost. (feels like I've hit a fuel cut or like the spark is being put out). Gap on spark plugs would be a likely candidate, but I'm using the same gap I've had for almost 5 years now.
I've been slowly replacing components trying to find a cause. Rotor/cap, plugs, wires, ignition coil, now looking at the ignition module. From Acura 186$. On eBay, 25$, shipped.

Anybody have any experience running these cheap modules on track? Or should I just lay the money down for OEM?

Parts stores stock them for ~90 and have warranties.

Yes, I did check the local part stores first.

Advance does not list any modules for a 94-96 GSR.
AutoZone list one, for 180$.

I understand most of all the ODB1 modules will fit, but Honda/Acura list them under different part numbers. So let me ask another question:

Are all Integra ODB1 ignition modules the same?
i.e. A 94 Integra LS/RS/GSR are all interchangeable regardless of the fact Acura list them as different part numbers?

Advance has an LS module for 97$. Still, my original question, how different/more reliable is this compared to the 25$ unit?

I honestly couldnt tell you. But you could have 4 ebay ones for the same price as one from a generic parts store. That in itself scores a + for track car. Still doesnt answer your question though.
