Hi there, this is my first post, i have an 88 dx hatch, and the seats are junk. i aquired a pair of del sol seats that are in great condition and guess what! they dont even remotely fit! i tried searching the forum, but to no avail, i am sure this question exists somewhere, but is there a way to make these great seats fit my car without welding or drilling? can i find some manner of adapter? i cant be the only one who has been devastated by this incompatability.

swap the rails and start from there. they will fit without welding.

 

they will definitely fit. Might Have to do a little drilling and a little manpower to line the hole . but it can be done

 

swap the seat pans off ur stock ones to the del sol....i did it to my friends rex

 

they fit in the crx with a pan swap because the backrest mounts are spaced far apart.
if you can make DC teg seats fit, you can make del sol seats fit, but you'll either need a custom bracket to mount the civic rails to the del sol seats, or a pan swap that won't look right, or just weld them to the floor like i found the seats in my car...

del sol seats look like *** IMO. there are a few Si hatches here that have decent seats, good ole Calgary.
