Default wheel and tire set up

looking for a little advice on wheel and tire size. I am ordering front weld wheels and have thoughts on width and back spacing. and for a tire i was looking at m/t 24.5/8/15 any thoughts or ideas are welcome. Have a thread Drag del sol if you would like to see set up. will be a ls vtec with 100 + shot nitrous

we have had really good luck with the 24.5x9x13 on our nitrous car...i think the 15 will be to big..and the 9 inch tire made a huge difference as well....

I say 24.5x9-13 slicks on 13-9 with 4.5"- 5" backspacing wheels

Glad someone else posted this cause im in the same boat. I have 24.5x9x13 slicks, but need wheels to mount them on. Been reading and most people say that a spacer is required regardless of what brand wheel you run, anyone care to confirm this? Also if so what size spacer, people say the wheels hit the arm that connects the hub to the upper ball join

can not use 13" rims due to by wilwood drag brake kit and its a nitrous car for now, one day will be close to a hot rod del sol

If you use a 9" slick, you will need a 1/2" spacer to clear the knuckle....at least on Lenso's you do, and probably most other stuff. Dont forget about the extended lugs also.

Thanks thats what I needed. I am gonna order some ARP studs (I have a broken one to replace anyways)
