Okay so theres a 4dr in my area and I can either buy the shell or i can buy it with the ls motor. Either way im going to be pulling the engine to get it ready for boost but my question is what would be cheaper? and if I do buy the car with the ls motor how could I tell that the motor was not stolen becuase it will not be stock.

 

if you dont plan to use the motor just get the shell! the ls motor is worth 400-450 but thats if its legit and in great running cond./compression! then just build a b18c-1 0r c-5 motor and boost it.

 

Only take the motor if the car runs so that you could save on towing.
Otherwise, you will have a lot of mess and a garbage motor laying around taking up space. Not too easy to sell the thing.
Was trying to get a 00 GSR shell off of insurance auction today. Someone was willing to spend over $2500 on the shell only. Screw that, too overpriced. RSX costs as much as DC nowadays
