Default Funny light on Dash

I recently had some stereo work done on my car. When the guy was done the airbag light came on. I think they call it the SR something light. He told me that for him to run the wire for the amp he had to take the seat out and disconnect a wire. He had a buddy that worked at the Honda Dealer and he said all I had to do was reset the light by unhooking the negative on the battery and turning the key to the one position. Let it sit for 30 min. and this should rest the light. Does this sound correct to anyone? I have do this once or twice before and still have the light. Any thoughts. Trying not to go to Honda and Pay a bill just so the cane hook it up to there machine.

You have to go to the dealer to reset the light...

They should pay for this. This isn't your problem. They should have full knowledge with what they're doing

Try going to an auto parts store and ask them to read and clear the codes, it won't cost you anything and is worth the try.

The dealership is gonna be the only one able to clear and SRS light. Unless you know someone with a Snap on Veres. But i would tell the shop that did your amp to pay for it.
