The Soviet thing was just what I hear my kid saying... Some type of American joke I guess?
Well the list I gave you isn't the most powerful Honda engine... It was for the car you have. You say you have an AWD - well the only true way to get "the more/most" powerful motor would be to convert to a B20/CR-V setup. Tons of work in hackig the vehicle is involved. The AWD system is something (if you want to retain it) that is not easy to work around. Essentially you are stuck with a D-series but it also has to had a spot for the intermediate shaft on the block if I recall correctly. So most of the motors I listed won't actualy easily work as a direct bolt-in but more towards the most powerful D-series engines for their respective OBD.

But you do bring up a very valid point. Does the OP still want to maintain the AWD system or go FWD? Then the only logical step would be a Mini Me using his stock bottom end if maintaining AWD.
Guys who will tell what most powerful engine v-tech type-r b20b it is possible to put without problems and body completion under engine fastenings on model CIVIC 4WD sedan 1988-1991 or there are even more powerfully engines prompt to all I will be very grateful?

Many different engines fit in the 1988-1991 Honda Civic.
Since you have AWD it would be easiest to keep a D-series engine. If you change to a different series engine then the transmission will need to be changed as well. If you want to keep AWD you want to keep D-series transmission.
Yes, people have swapped in B-series, H-series, K-series and even J-series into 1988-1991 Civics/CRXes.
Other people have posted some good suggestions for engines.

The brothers tell me which sports items are the cheapest and reliable of all the Japanese brands who can help me be grateful, just here in Russia with great prices wrap want to ask all of you brothers?? Help!
To keep your AWD system I think the best choice of engine would be a DOHC ZC as has been said before it will bolt right up to everything in your car and give you more power and is a good engine to boost if you want even more power from it.
Welcome to Honda tech and good luck with the car.
