transmission help?
I have a 90 accord with an h22 and recently the car does not want to go into gear mainly 1st and reverse. When i am slightly moving it goes in alright but it still doesn't ingauge smooth it almost feels like it gets caught by something. Also my idle has jumped up i doubt that has anything to do with it but my car is idling at almost 2.5k when i first start it. Any ideas?

does the idle like jump back in forth or is just a steady at 2.5k? When the car warms up does it drop back down to a 'normal' idle?
Edit also check for a vacuum leak

nah man it is steady at 2.5k its really damn weird. Just started happening out of no where. I am more concerned with the transmission though. Tonight it barely went in reverse then i took it out of reverse and the car started putting ( i can't explain it better thats how it sounded) Its wack yo
i think reverse is a common problem for honda's. 3 more friends with hondas have problems putting theres in reverse. Even my bucket gives me problems some days. When is the last time you had your fluid replaced? Have you checked your fluid? Is your clutch slipping at all?
Sorry i forgot to add that fluids are fine. And it is not a common reverse problem it use to be kinda hard to get in now it is just a pain in the ***. Clutch isn't slipping. I guess i will change the fluids see if that helps i have been mean to change the gear oil for sometime might as well do the clutch fluid at the same time.
changed the transmission fluid today and put in honda mtf and it still sucks. I also adjusted the clutch pedal which was suggested by the "parts pro" haha at advance auto. Still sucks a fat one anyone know what else it could be? This may be a dumb question but would a throw out bearing have anything to do with this? I know it is going bad it is cherping when my foot is not on the clutch. I doubt it has anything to do with it but hopefully i am wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
