Hey everyone,

New to the board and wanted to say hello!!! I just picked up a 2000 Civic Si 2 weeks ago with 76k miles. Car is mint with a clean title. Everything is original and stock still and I plan on keeping it that way. I verified VIN # matches on the engine/block, fenders, hood, bumper, etc.... Car was always serviced at a Honda dealership. Loving it so far but would like some info on keeping it secure. I have a garage and plan on getting the NRG quick release hub with lock and wheel. Not sure how much those run? Anyone have any idea?

Also looking for an alarm with GPS tracking. What are the good ones I should look at? Also want to do a kill switch or two. What other things should I consider? Also any good shops in the DMV area that does alarm install and some of these other things.

Here are some pics. Tell me what you think (sorry some pics were taken with a phone camera so not the best of quality) First 4 pics are after a wash and wax today

Nice car man looks very clean. I picked up my NRG short hub, quick release and momo tuner wheel for about 300. Weksos sells them in a kit everything you need to bolt it up.

Swapping in that hub, i am pretty sure you loose your airbag operation with the SRS. You will have a light to deal with, plus you should check with your insurance company, as some may cancel your your claim in the event of an accident if they find out you removed original safety equipment from your car

Did you buy it from Weksos or from a forum member used?

I had the wheel bought about a year ago and got the short hub and quick release on ebay. But if you wanna buy it all together in a package you can check there site. As for the SRS yes you lose the airbags you have to completly remove the driver side airbag, and you also lose the passenger side because the system will not work. I dont know about insurance canceling but it could be possible, can always say you bought it that way though.
