So theres a hole in my stock exhaust. I'm not exactly sure what problems that gives me mechanically, but it is VERY loud haha. I've had it for a couple months now and decided I should replace the exhaust. I am not looking for any type of ricer fart pipe. I want something along the lines of the new civic SI exhaust or if an acura type S exhaust fits that would be nice, or IDK gimme some pointers I am a noob. thanks

 

I like the look and the sound of the greedy system. they come in many types even one that looks a bit like the my 09 civic si and they sound oh so nice. Take a look at the evo2

sorry should have specified i'm not trying to spend $700...looking for an exhaust that might come off a car being parted out...like an OEM integra/rsx/civic si but yea if i found that evo2 used it looks really nice

 

if you get something used like the integra/rsx/and civic Si (unless it is the same body 92-95) you are going to spend what you might save having the exhaust cut welded and reworked to fit your car. Your best bet is to search for a used system for your car and hope you get lucky. Thats how I got my like new evo2 for my 09 for under $300

 

yea that was why I made this thread...so oem exhausts from other model years and teggies dont bolt on huh? good to know, and yea i'm trying to spend $300 or less...

 

Where is the hole? If its on the pipe somewhere you can just get a new pipe installed at a shop for under 100 bucks, if its on the muffler just find someone selling the mufflerand get it welded on at a shop. You dont need to buy the whole system

Either way you dont need the whole system if you can find an si muffler or whatever else you wanted you can get a muffler shop to install a slightly larger pipe for well within your budget

im payn 175 for all new 2.25 exhaust from header back to muffler. i do alot of business with the guy so i get a better deal and he does it right the first time. i buddy of mine bought a ebay kit and it sounds nice and not to loud but he paid 150 i think he said. gl with ur exhaust

RSX type S mufflers are pretty cool.... Quiet until you get on the throttle.
