88 civic hatchback problems and need a lil help in the right direction
hey guys i have a 88 civic hatchback that i just got and it is a d15b2 5spd.. okay i have 2 problems that i need help in the right direction on..
1-it burns oil and shoots out white smoke from the exhaust need help??
2-it sputtters and dies down when giving it gas in high rpms need some help asap dont want to mess anything up worse than what it is??
i just put new spark plugs and wires..

It sounds like you probably need a head gasket along with piston rings and I'm sure valve seals. Check the color of your coolant and oil as it should indicate if you've got a blown head gasket.
