Default Car smokes need HELP!

im about to go check out this guy's 94 ls with a gsr swap in it. the motor was turbo'd for a bit and then was taken off. But he says when vtec cracks it smokes pretty bad. i was wondering is it because it's running to rich from being setup as a turbo gsr? he said it still running a turbo chip and turbo injectors which are probably way to big for an all motor gsr. if i brang my own gsr injectors and a gsr ecu would if run better? or is there something going wrong in the block?

If the car is now N/A but it is still running the turbo injectors and program then it must be running like ****. It must be spewing black smoke all over the place. There's no telling what happened to the engine while it was turbo'd but the first step is to get OEM injectors and programming back in and go from there.

I'm assuming it has all the GSR provisions in the wire harness? VTEC, IAB, etc?
