Default Demon USB Cable Question ............and Fusebox location question

Well I finally received my Demon Neptune package after the Canada Post strike and I have a couple questions about installation.

1) Are there any downsides to using 1 USB cable from the Demon directly to my laptop? (A mini USB to Standard USB Adapter Cable like a cellphone cable). And does it have to be a high speed, shielded cable?

2) The car is not finished so I havent started it up yet but I did a wire tuck and my fusebox is now located under the dash on the passenger side in the same area as the ECU. Can this cause any potential problems with electrical noise and the demon?

As always, replies are appreciated

No downside, we simply provide the dual cable for location mounting. If you don't choose to use those cables that is fine. Just be sure to use a cable with a ferrite bead. That really helps.

Likely not, but definitely make sure your grounds are secure.
