Default Viper 850 XV Alarm Arm/DisArm problems

Everything with the alarm seems to be functioning correctly except after arming it, doesn't seem like anything will set the alarm off. I checked all the connections and everything looks good, not sure what is going on.

When I arm it the parking lights flash once, both doors lock and the LED is a solid blue (not flashing, like it used to). Also it used to chirp when you armed it, now it doesn't. Same thing when you disarm it, parking lights flash twice and doors unlock, no chirps though. I checked the audio to see if it lit up when the car was armed and the light does flash when a loud enough noise is made inside the car, however the alarm doesn't trigger. Same with the tilt sensor, I can see the lights coming on when I shake the car or slap the roof. Yet it doesn't set off the alarm. Also slightly rolled down the window and armed it, stuck my hand in and unlocked it from the inside. Alarm doesn't trigger. It's like I somehow set it into silent mode. When you press the panic button the alarm goes off, press it again and it turns off. When you disarm, the overhead light comes on.

I don't have the 998T Bitwriter, so I have to check/program everything with the valet button. I've got the manual and have been trying to check the settings but not sure exactly where the problem might be. There was also a relay hooked up under the hood, connected to the fuse box and grounded. However the other wire when I traced it back to its end wasn't hooked up to anything, just taped off. I did have my car in the shop not to long ago getting some body work done and since then it doesn't seem like the alarm has been working.

Think maybe the brain is going out, or somehow it got set into a silent mode? I'll be going through all the settings tomorrow manually using the valet button and see if I can't figure something out.

your in valet mode, to turn it off put your key in the IGN to the ON position and OFF. Locate your Valet button within 5 seconds and press it once and that will put it out of valet mode.
