Over heating when I have any thermostat in the car...
Well I just put a new jdm engine in to my car last week and i have been over heating every time I put a thermostat in to the car. and with out it in the car it still runs a lil hot, at about 1/4 of the way.
So when the thermostat is in the car ( its an brand new thermostat and i have tryed other new ones also) the car will drive for about 2 block and got to over the H. But when I get out of the car and feel the radiator, the top is super hot and the bottom is cold, and if i feel the bottom hose it is cold and fells like there is no water in it, its all soft.
I have a ebay aluminum radiator btw.
As for the engine, It have been cleaned inside and out and have all new seals and gaskets every where and It has a new water pump.
So anyone know what this could be?
Here is a picture of my engine bay for all you people that like pictures =P

you replaced the head gasket? have you checked to see if your fan is coming on? if u haven't checked. turn the key in the ON position not started and take the plug off the fan switch sensor on the thermostat housing and jump the connector with a piece of wire or paperclip. if it doesn't come on u have a problem with the wiring to the fan, fuse, or fan switch is bad.

either you have a bad tstat, its in wrong or you have a large air pocket. If the car doesnt over heat with it out then you know the cooling system is working. So the only varriable is the Tstat not openning because you have a large air pocket behind it, or it is defective out of the box
I have tryed 5 tstats. And I have tested all of them in hot water at 170-180 and they all work just fine. I have no cel codes at all. I have ordered a new radiator so I hope the fixes my problem. Cuz even with the tstat out, the car is still a lil hot. And I have ran a car with out the tstat befor and the heat was way lower then this. So when I get the new radiator ill let you guys know what happens.
As for the heater core. How do I go about getting that out and were is it at??

the Heater core is under the dash and a royal pain in the *** to get to. u can bypass it to see if its the problem by looping the hose back into the motor. i don't think u need any heat anytime soon.
Bleeding the cooling system may take 20-30 minutes:
1) Park the car on an inclined driveway with the front end higher than the rear.
2) Push the dash heater lever/**** to MAX heat.
3) Follow the directions in the diagram below (hint: the bleed bolt is located where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine):

Fixed it It was the radiator. I got A new one with a slim fan for $75 shipped to my house. And its a lot nicer then my last ebay one.
