I have a 94 accord ex with the f22b1 and Im trying to figure out whether to build a g22 with the bottom end that I already have, or build a g23. Im wanting about 350 to the wheels and on a fairly limited budget. I already have an h22 head and Im going to go the turbo route. Any advice?

 

I also need to know what turbo would be best for the build. Ebay turbo? Or should I get a holset? Should I leave the bottom end alone or would I have to build it? I wanna be able to rev to 8k

 

im also in the same boat as this guy.... i have a h22 long block but i want to mate the h22 head onto a f23block for turbo purposes. would that be a g23 or g22?

as to the poster i think you deff need to build the bottom end to handle 8k. the f block family is not reccomended to rev past 6500

 

Putting an h22 head on a f23 block is called the g23. Okay thanks and how exactly would you recommend I build it for that?
