Default 1990 Civic Wagon, MPFI swap, Crank angle problems

Hey everybody, I'm not having any luck getting help on the other forums I frequent, so I'm coming here looking for some help.

I've got a 90 Civic Wagon DX model, had a DPFI D15B2 in it. That's out now, in its place is a D16Z6, D16Z6 OBD1 dizzy, PM6 ECU, etc. Built the OBD0-OBD1 dizzy plug, all of the wires go to the right places and its soldered, heatshrinked, and loomed. Onto my problem.

I'm having issues with the Crank Angle sensor it seems. With the crank angle plugged in (Orange off the dizzy to B10, small white to B12), my car won't start and run. If I hit the starter while my main relay is still running the prime up cycle, it will start but then dies immediately. If I unplug my orange wire from B10, the car will start and run fine in Limp mode. I didn't move C1 or C2 plugs to B10 and 12, I had a wire at B12 and moved another unused B plug pin to B10.

Dizzy is brand new, and the specs for the crank angle check out. 380 ohms at the dizzy plug. Went through troubleshooting the Crank angle, and it checks out fine.

Anyone ever experience this issue? Any help is very much appreciated. I'd like to get my car running with the MPFI so I can start bolting turbo parts on.

Bump for some help and some progress.

I've gone back through my injector wiring and fixed its power. My injectors now receive power from the proper place, but my car still starts and then dies immediately. I tried hotwiring the fuel pump to run with the ignition on by jumping through the Main Relay harness, and it still won't start and run.

No CELs, just no vroom! Brand new main relay, ignition switch, stuff like that. Anyone have any ideas?

did you do this:
move c1 to b10
move c2 to b12

new dizzy wiring blue/green goes to c1
new dizzy wiring blue/yellow goes to c2

i had a customer who bought one of my (DPFI to B16A) harnesses and had the same issue because he had forgotten to swap these plugs. after he did this no more code 4. try that and get back to us.

Yup, That's all been done. I no longer get the CEL, but my car still won't start with the sensors plugged in. I'll have a video shortly to show exactly what I mean. It starts but dies as soon as it starts.

You say Z6 distributor with a PM6 ecu. Those two are not compatible. If your using an OBD1 distributor, you must use an OBD1 ECU. The crank sensors inside the housing operate at a different Hz rating. OBD0 is 16Hz and OBD1 is 24Hz I believe.

I didn't even catch that. There is your problem. You need to run an obd1 ecu (P28 to be exact). You cannot run an obd1 distributor with an obd0 (pre-obd) ecu.

Great! That's the info I needed, guys! Thanks for the help. I'll go see if I have one laying around to swap.
