i got a cable ls tranny in my car with what i think is a stock clutch it came with the tranny and it looks stock. but my clutch pedal just cracked. so im gona take it out and weld it but i wana change the clutch to something more soft so it wont tear again.

 

Its a common problem in Our generation. No matter if your clutch is stiff or soft. So do your best to reinforce it and keep up with maintenance

 

Soft pressure plates are weaker, stronger ones are stiffer

oem is a good compromise.

 

im not concerned with performance and all that its just the daily driver. ill just get an oem one then. thanks. and i just welded the pedals and added some extra support to it and got them back in well see how it does.
