WTF? No tranny for this price? Go somewhere else. You're getting raped. B18C GSR or better yet, the R. All day. H22, you'll going to run into problems. B-series is pretty much plug and play. B's belong in the engine bay.
those prices are outrageous.
h22 is a more difficult swap and you'll need to buy a swap kit. the frm cylinder walls are also notorious for burning oil. they are, however, considered much stronger. there had to be a reason why honda stuck with them for over 2 decades. h22 also uses balance shafts. not a huge deal, but when doing the timing belt it will make it a little more difficult. i can't imagine it would be fun to do in a dc chassis. in fact, i can't imagine much engine work would be fun to do with the h swapped in a dc chassis.
you can, however, delete the balance shafts. it would increase power output slightly.
there is also less aftermarket support for the h and thus parts are a tad more expensive.
i dunno. still, the h is a cool motor. 2.2l w/frm sleeves. a fat *** turbo on there and you will make great power. if you really wanna go fast, that is the best bang for the buck. the thought has crossed my mind before. i mean, not for the price you've sourced though. but i see h22's going for 5 bills on cl all day. they're extremely cheap these days.
however, if you just want to go relatively fast and have that done the easiest way possible, just go with the b. just make sure you get a decent transmission with that. don't rob that engine with the ls transmission. i cannot stress that enough

I would go B series. There will be much less headaches during the swap. Also you might want to check hmotorsonline I have bought engines from them. Never had any problems with their engines. Also compared to the prices you quoted they are cheap.
and yeah if you go B series make sure you get a short geared trans. don't stick with an LS trans, you'll probly get great gas mileage but the car just won't be as much fun!
