My 96 accord ex shakes pretty hard when in drive and im on a complete stop it just started today after my mechanic put in a new starter car wouldnt start so i needed a new starter so i got home and i stopped while on drive and my car shakes i have no idea what it could be also i gt like a whistle noice when im driving it sounds like the transmission cuz it only sounds louder when its shiffting any ideas? It only shakes when in drive and im on a complete stop goes away while im driving it wont shake when its in park so im lost here

 

maybe a mount is loose? id take it back to where you got the work done asap...........

Just came back from mechanic he told me its the motor mount behind the engine anybody know how much a motor mount is and about how much to install it?

 

if your good with cars, and have tools, id say remove the rear bracket, remove the mount. fill it with 3m poly fill. autozone should have replacement mounts, check there prices.

but id also have someone else take a look at it, make sure all the bolts are tight. make sure that mechanic is not taking you for a ride.
