10.701@130.68 on Pump Gas 93<--SRT-4 Pump record!
I know it's not a Honda but I spend a lot of time on here because I love checking out the fast FWD's and trying to see what I can learn.
Went to the track tonight aiming for the old pump record of 10.92@126. Was shooting for a 10.89 but I got a bit more then I asked for. Car not only got the SRT-4 stock bottom pump record but also got the pump record in general. I know something will come along faster soon enough but it probably wont' be as unique from the stock bottom perspective. I'm not one to get caught up on all the sub-categories but I'll take what I can get. lol
The car is still full interior minus the trunk and sound deadening material under carpet and has a 4" aluminum exhaust out the back to a 4" aluminum Vibrant race muffler. I'm leaving the car like this because I plan to hit up some IFO events and run the Forced Induction Sport class. Except next time out it'll be on race gas or back on E85 (if it's in my area again).

nice run man, but I have to add a comment other than that
pump gas is also E85 not just 91 OR 93
i would like to see the octane rating posted for all the pump gas runs, and records be kept from that criteria.
but either way nice

congrats. did you go to the zmax tnt on tues i think? saw a couple people on fb post they were hitting it up. what power does the setup make?
As far as power I don't know for sure. We use a Mustang Dyno so I would assume mid 4's on our dyno
Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind words.
Slip break down. I need to work on my 60 for sure:
60' - 1.70
330' - 4.60
1/8 - 6.938 @ 105.6mph
1000' - 8.975
1/4 - 10.701 @ 130.68mph

Yes, 93.
Personally, I don't consider E85 pump gas. I know it comes out of a pump, but I always specify E85 when I use it. My best times ever have been on E85, but that was with quite a few differences in the setup. Car is much stronger now and I can't wait to get it on E85 or race gas.

we dont agree on thta then lol
nice times on 93 man
personally i consider e85 just like pump gas because it is reradily available tot he consumer at variouse stations of course, and this is the only down fall of it. I also like e85 over 93 for the simple fact that your engine doesnt run near as hot as it does on straight gas therefore making it alot safer.
cant wait to see it on e85 man

I don't mind if someone calls it pump, just gotta be specific! lol. Cause it's def not a fair comparison when you compare 93 to E85.
Down here it's also not easy to get! I have one gas station 10 miles away that always runs out. My only other option a 80 mile round trip. If they don't have it local when I get ready to switch her over then I'll just do race gas for the time being. I def. prefer E85 over race gas, but I don't have a lot of spare time so a 80 mile trip isn't always in the cards.

For the simple fact that its not available everywhere in the country and at every pump. Hell they sell 100 octane unleaded and 110 octane leaded at a Loves Gas station here in Yuma, AZ but does that mean that that race fuel is now considered pump gas. I doubt it. That and its 7.00/gal. E85 is not pump gas. Maybe when its at at least 90% of gas stations across the country then we will talk. But right now its only available at probably less than 5% of stations across the country.
Nice SRT-4 man, i have a little thing with SRT-4's in my b13 sentra. Lets just say ive never lost to one out of the 27 that ive raced ranging from stock to a t67 h.o on 32 lbs of boost. I was on my 60 trim setup vs that one and still walked it pretty good. SRT's used to be very very popular in my town and for some reason they always thought they were hotshots and always wanted to run me. One SRT 4 team in Mexicali came down with their 500whp srt to run me and was pretty pissed when they lost and they were on race fuel and drag radials and i was on my everyday pump gas setting and 20psi of boost. Ill give it to you though, yours is clean for sure and well done on the mods.

Whatever fool, If i went around saying i made 650whp on 110 octane race fuel but because i pumped it right out of a pump here at a local station that its now considered pump gas, you sir are an idiot and I would be considered by anyone else to be running race gas not pump gas.
Same goes with e85. Just because its easily available in some areas and yes i say some because there are not that many areas and mainly up north and back east. The nearest station that has e85 to me is in Phoenix and even in as large of a city as phoenix there is only a couple stations that sell it. Probably more stations that sell 100 octane and 110 octane race fuel than e85. So yeah id consider e85 not a typical pump gas. When i hear pump gas, i immediately think 91 or 93 whatever is avaialble in your area. E85 is a specialty fuel. You have to have a seperate tune to run it and so on. At least with race fuel you can run your pump gas tune and be fine with it. Dont try and do that on e85. Kaboom!

Ethanol is way different then 93 obviously, and they both do come out of a pump. Long before e85 was introduced to the public "pump" gas was considered 87 89 91 93 etc. I think thats where the hang up is. Its just a term. Hell, just call it pump ethanol or pump e85 and roll on. That will differentiate it from the rocketfuel ethanol that you can get in barrels not at a pump.
Call it whatever but at the end of the day, this stock engine on pump gas just ran a 10.701!!! not to mention the fact that its on ****ing Weld Magnums!!! SICK!!!
