Default Cheap out Black chrome "H" emblem

Just got a pair of OEM emblem for my accord.
I been using those aftermarket one after my original emblem got jacked.
I'm just wonder is there any kind of paint i can use to make it looks like black chrome? someone told me smoked(black or grey) led spray paint works.
any idea? or anyone did it already?

I painted mine, first I put a primer on it, then sprayed it black. I touched it too soon so it left a finger print, so I touched it all over and now it has a textured look. Looks good IMO, hasn't flaked, chipped or anything in about 6 months or so.

You could primer it but shouldnt have to. Any hardware store should carry a variety or spray paints that will work fine. You just have to choose your colour!

Back when I had emblems, I sprayed them w/ Tamiya Metallic Black model paint. It looked good, but after awhile the front emblem started chipping all over the place. I should have clearcoated them.

Now I just have OEM emblems, which I did not paint
