1999 civic hatch dx struts fitment
i have a 1999 honda civic dx complete stock and i'm planning to drop the car sometime soon.
i'm still a newbie at this but when u buy struts/coilover for a civic, u buy it base on the body style and not the engine or 5lug(example itr) correct? or do i have to get the struts/coilover base on the engine and the 5lug suspension?

Nope. For you.. you would need any setup for 96-00 Civic. Front shocks are pretty much interchangeable between 92-95 Civics and 94-01 Integras. The rear shock on the 96-00 civic is a bit different then the EG civic or DC Integra.
Sorry if I'm not explaining this clearly but as of now i have a single cam engine and 4 lug suspension of course. If I was to put Coilover/struts right now and later in the future swap a 5 lug maybe, would I be able to use the same coilover/struts or do I have to use One that comparable with a 5 lug setup
Ps I don't know if this will make it easier but I'm planning to go with koni yellow with ground control sleeve
