95 Lx help
Hey, looking for some help to point me to the right direction.
My 1995 Lx 2.2 non vtec is throwing code 8, Top dead center sensor. I have done a ton of reading on this forum and I have got all kinds of differnt answers. The TDC sensor is the Crankshaft sensor? Right? Also, this is located behind the pully, correct? I have read so many differnt threads as the where they are located. I took a look under the car, but couldn't get any where.

Yes the crankshaft position sensor is located at the bottom timing belt crank pulley, it is mounted on the block behind the lower timing belt cover which is why you can't see it, there is a 4 wire hookup running down the back side of the timing cover that you can follow to help locate it, it should be noted its not quick to change this sensor as you have to remove the entire cover, timing and balance belts to access it, make sure your wires leading to it are in good shape, they tend to get covered in oil
I concur, I believe on the 94/95 any sensor would be in the distributor. 96/97 cars have the crank sensor. I don't recall there being any sensor or wiring down that low on the '95 EX.
