Default car cranks, sparks, fuel flows, but will not start

i've been trying to track this problem down for a couple days
90 Civic DX
just did mpfi swap, wiring is correct, i've verified it numerous times.
when i was doing the wiring, something shorted out (heard a pop), cuz i forgot to remove the neg bat terminal.
blew the battery fuse. replaced it.
car cranks aaaaallll daaaay, fuel squirts, main relay is good, fuses are good. throwing code 20 ELD, but my fuse box doesn't have one, so that shouldn't be an issue. that's the only code
so if i have bad injectors, what is a simple way to check em?
how can i verify the dizzy is good or not?

replaced the coil with a known good one
how can i check if the injectors are opening or not?
i've got spark on all 4 cylinders, fuel pressure where the line meets the rail, looking for anything else i can eliminate.

dizzy is good, sparking
fuel pump is good
main relay is good
starter is good
battery is fully charged

Crank it a few times and pull your spark plugs. It will smell like fuel if the injectors work. Spark plugs may also be wet which would tell which work and which might not be working.

Have you verified your firing order?

yep i made sure the plug wires are in the correct order
i'll pull off a plug and see if there is fuel on it. i'm thinking my issue is fuel-related somehow.
