Default GSR swap Trouble Starting

Hey guys,

wanted to know what kind of advice anyone could provide for this dilemma.

I have a 93 civic si (2 door - eg6 - OBD1) and I recently dropped a 96 B18C1 gsr motor (OBD2) into it.

Everything is working great!! except for this one problem

After the car has been sitting for an hour or so, when i go to start it, it has to turn over a solid 10 times before it will kick over and start. Once started, if i shut it off, and start it again, it will start perfectly.

So it seems that when the car is sitting for a while fuel is maybe receding away from the engine.

Ive tried changing the fuel stabilizer as well as the ECU - computer. Neither seem to be the cause of my headache.

Any ideas guys??!!! is it possibly a fuel pump?? (I'm skeptical to think it is because the fuel pump was working fine when the d series motor was in just before the swap)

Let me know what you thinnk guys, thanks!

Pat.

get a fuel gauge and see if it holding pressure. are you running a stock fuel pressure regulator? i would upgrade the pump i went with a 255 with an adjustable regulator but check to see if you are holding pressure might have a leak ate the fuel rail
