Just a reminder when buying used...
I hope everyone brings a screw driver and takes the cover off to check the contents. Reason I say this is someone tried to sell me a Hondata S300 in a VTEC converted P06 yesterday. The guy handed me the ECU and I said mind if I take it a part? He had the uh oh look, as I pulled out a screw driver and opened it up. It was an ECU ready to have the Hondata chip but it lacked all of that. I handed it back to him and said this isn't a Hondata S300 chipped ECU. He tried to assure me it was, then questioned himself and said are you sure? Yeap. I also brought along my netbook loaded with the S300 manager but didn't even bother testing it since it lacked the components lol.

A buddy of mine got taken for a fake k-pro, he got a accord ecu with "something" with a USB port glued in it to look like a functional daughter board. Unfortunatly he did not open the case.
With the OBD1 ECUs you can often look in where the grey plugs come through at a certain angle and read the second sticker that's on top of the plugs. People have been known to stick P05/P06 or other boards in P28 cases.
