Default loud noise after build up

I put in eagle rods and notice that the stock rods have this metal peice of thing inside it. But the eagle rods didn't have it. I decided not to use them. The rods feel kind of loose or something? But when I started up the car it makes an extremly loud clanking noise. Is it because I forgot those metal peices?

THANK GOD he did'nt do this to a CHEVY don't you all agree?
OOPS sorry ya'll a bunch of RICER %#$# but you know what stupid people do .... they go out and buy hondas only because they can't handle a real classic piece of american history thats why the call CHEVY THE HEARTBEAT OF AMERICA
GET IT? GOT IT ? GOOD? now go and do yourself a favor and go buy a real car but if your gonna do that and forget the bearings better buy a ford

"thats why the call CHEVY THE HEARTBEAT OF AMERICA "

They also say "Chevy, Like a Rock" The most interesting thing i have ever seen a rock do is roll down a hill or fall of a cliff.
