the original motor in my 91 SI smokes really bad white smoke....i installed new piston rings, head gasket and valve seals and still it smokes...it doesnt smoke on start up but progressively starts to smoke worse and worse as it idles.....cant figure out y.....so im looking to ditch it and pick up either another A6 or d15b1 im located in north carolina and dont want to spend much.....contact by PM or text 406 366 3905 josh thanks.....

 

There is a A6 with 155k original miles on it here in Salt lake City. I could pick it up for $250 or maybe a bit less. Did you check your PCV Valve ? If your intake is sucking oil out your crank case up through the PCV into your Intake. That could be the reason. It happened to me once.
