Lawnmower Battery in CRX...
Anyone running a lawnmower battery or motorcycle battery in their ef's? Im looking into using a lawnmower battery instead of relocating it to the back. Im not sure how much space it will free up in the engine bay.. i think i read somewhere that a person fit a 99-00 si CAI on their b16a in a crx with just putting in the lawnmower battery. Anyone know if this is possible or not? Thanks for the help. Pics would be great.

yeah the typical max power of a lawn batt is 300cca or so. most hondas take 400-500 recommended. do what was said above and get a drycell. that way you dont have to worry about anything venting (acid) into your trunk. can you tell i used to work at batteries plus?
batcap makes a model 800 batery. it is the size of a motorcycle battery. it weighs only 10lbs and resting voltage is 13 volts. you can find them online for $169 plus shipping and they are 800 cca.
Not at all, if you watch your voltage the range varies widely, I've heard in most audio setups 13.7volts is a good normal voltage.

I have a Baker Precision battery, weighs 15lbs. It's pretty small, but it effortlessly cranks the motor over. I don't know about daily use though, I have this in my race car.
my friend ran one of these for a long time without any problems, i like how much room i freed up with my relocation and still kept weight over the front tires!
we have a battery relocaton kit that mounts on the Crossmember. The kit uses a Baker 330cca lightweight battery.
