Driver window rolls up crooked on '90 DX hatch.
I've been having this problem with the driver window rolling up crooked, it has some wobble to it and it is tilting forwards. I have to press it out and also towards the rear for it to roll up properly and even then it doesn't seal properly when closed, and rain water is getting in the the car and down inside the door.
I took the panel off and can't seem to find anything wrong, missing, or odd-looking. What could the problem be?

It's got a gangsta' lean!
I've had this problem on several cars.
To fix it, I roll the window all the way up the best I can, take off the door panel. and then loosen up the bolts that hold the window to the rail.
Set the window where it ought to go and then tighten up the bolts.
If that doesn't fix it, leave the panel off and roll the window up and down a few times to see what is going on.

I've greased the rails and channels, rolled the window up and down, tilted it back and forth, I can't seem to figure out what exactly is loose/missing/broken. Everything looks fine except the window tilts towards the front of the car and has a lot of play in it.

I've been using grease on window assemblies, power and manual, for years, never had any issues. Plus the crap I've cleaned out of those rails definitely looked like old grease to me, so I'm assuming that's what Honda used when they built these.
Hm, learn something new every day. I still don't see why grease would be a bad idea, unless it was a low-grade/cheap crappy grease. I have this blue grease that I use on damn near everything and it's fantastic, I especially used it on several of my Integras when I had to replace old window motors. Never had any issues and the windows worked beautifully with the new grease.
Yeah, you've got a point there. My cars have always been in pretty decent shape and I keep them very clean, so I guess that problem isn't as common for me as it would be for others.
Either way, this window is still being a pain in the ***. I have an Si parts car here from the same year, I'll take a look at the driver window assembly on that one and see if I can figure out what the problem is.

Still couldn't figure out what the problem was and chalked it up to nothing more than a worn-out regulator assembly. Replaced with a very good condition one out of a spare door I had laying around, window rolls up/down just fine now.
