FMIC.... need to cut bumper support... what tool?

What kind of tool do you guys reccomend using when cutting the stock bumper support bar?

I just need to cut about HALF way upward into my bumper support bar so that my 3x28x8 FMIC will clear.

Angle grinder, make sure to go with the direction of the spin. Get a few cutting disks.

sawzall? harbor freight sells a miniature version to get in tight spaces
