Need some help finding the right cv driveshaft for my D16z6 engine so the cv driveshaft can fit on 97 honda civic DX..... Cv driveshaft i have on now keep coming out i think its too short 1 1/16 of an inch anybody know what is compitable to my car it needs to be 24 1/2 in long ....... need some help thank you

 

I have read many threads here where people complain about axles that are too short. It seems to be aftermarket re-manufactured axles that are to blame. I have never had this problem with aftermarket axles myself.

All '92-'00 D series axles are the same, except Civics with ABS which simply need axles with ABS rings.

Measure the axles at the store and compare them to your measurements before buying.

 

were could i find this aftermarket cv driveshaft were is the arftermarket one located could really use some help in finding um thanks

 

the locking ring at the end of the spline is possibly missing pull the the axcle out and check it lockes into diff

 

so it doesn't matter it the one i have on is shorter then the one i surposed to have the one i got on now is 23 7/16 so it can fit the motor ............... the one calling for the civic is surposed to 24 1/2 let me know what u think.... cause need this problem fix before something major happens to car
