Default 95 sedan clutch feels funny

I just picked up my accord about a week ago and the clutch feels really weird to me. It's super sensitive, as soon as I put any pressure on it the clutch activates. The pedal doesn't feel soft or spongey so I don't think its the slave cylinder. When I got it the dude said he had it replaced not too long ago. I've been driving my 95 civic hatch for over 3 years and this clutch feels NOTHING like it. Do you think it's about to go out or am I just being paranoid?
