Coilovers locked?
Hello Honda-Tech
I have skunk2 pro series coilovers all around my 2000 ls, but the rear coilovers seemed to locked. I have tried everything and still no luck trying to adjust them. I have used wd-40, Pb blaster, pipe wrenches, hammer etc... I even took out the suspension and try to adjust them outside the car and it doesn't even move at all. How the heck do i get theses things to budge? If it cant be adjusted can I just cut a link from the coilovers lol? Any help will be appreciated thanks for your time.

They are definatly adjustable.
Are you sure you are turning perches in the correct direction?
Get some Lloyds MoovIt, best penetrating oil ever.
Spray let sit overnightif it does not release, someone welded them together

The lock rings?
I've never done it but if I was dead set on getting them to move I'd have a friend over & we would both take a hammer & punch/chisel then hit them opposite ways (to unlock), or have one hold a perch and tap the other towards unlock. WD-40 would help.

YES. lloyds moovit. best penetrating lube ever, for sure.
as stated, hose them down and let sit overnight.
then use a hammer and brass drift on the notches. the brass should be soft enough to keep from chewing up the notches. a couple solid straight hits should free them up.
could also try a pair of large channel locks. maybe a rag between the jaws so not to chew up the perches

put your tires back on, go drive over a speed bump, maybe the weight from the car and the impact will make it budge, specially sense you have already done all of those other things, or even try moving the coil up, and then down, that usually works i know for a fact.

Hit them with some penetrating lubricant and then put the spanner wrenches on so that the two handles are close together but i little apart and put a clamp on them and tighten the clamp so it pulls them together. Thats how i break them if hitting them doesn't work.
I took a propane torch to a set of teins once and it worked fine. I would use it as an absolute last resort though, because while it did work, who knows what else it may have messed up.
tein spanner wrenches actually have a half inch drive socketed handle. you can use a breaker bar on them. problem is the metal of the wrenches is far from indestructible. it will bend and open the jaw rendering them useless.
moovit and impact is the way to go, IMO
