i just bought a 90 ef sedan EX....and my buddies are saying it isnt an EX....can someone please tell me what an EX came with......engine.trans.interior.exterior.....every thing

 

I don't know the condition of the car or the previous owner.
Parts could have been replaced or added.

Check the VIN.

look under the hood..

 

14" wheels, larger 10" front brakes, 15/16ths brake master cylinder, factory mpfi, EX trunk badge and a d16a6 under the hood are a dead give away. other than that they're the same as any other sedan. granted those are all factory specs... what's been done to your car idk

 

thanks everyone.....i had the d16a6 under the hood then it developed rodknock...i got the car with a numbers matching motor but plan on rebuilding it....did the ex ef2 come in 5spd??

 

Some of them do have the 5spd.
It has a different final drive than the Si.

 

90-91 Civic EX is ED4 in VIN number
