Default Need help slamming integra

I just put on skunk2 pro s2 full coilovers today and they are all the way down in the front and are level with the tire. I need to go lower to fit my wheels. I know i can buy a shorter spring, but where do i buy them at and how do i know what size i need? And i know about ext. top hats too

I dont get it because on the back coilovers i can thread them down and i can tuck rim?!

why cant the front do this???

plz help on what i should do to go lower.

Maybe you accidently put the springs on the wrong ends of the car? Most coilovers do come with instructions.

the problem with full coilovers they aren't made to go that low. I had that same issue with a lot coilovers in the past . wanna go low ? Yellow koni 's shocks with a skunk2 or groundcontrols coilovers and it will be as low as you ever want it and the yes the koni has damper settings ....so a low ride with a comfort.

Most "full coilovers" are meant for noithing but slamming the car.

This is why function form is so popular.

Did the manufacturer provide you with notches in the springs to make the decision more precise?

Cutting springs is extremely dangerous.

True, to a certain point.
If most coilovers were meant to moderately lower a car, and provide great handling, then please explain why 95% of the coilovers being sold today will slam the car, and likely never be seen on a track? or a car that is even pushed on the street?

There aren't very many poeople these day's that care about hanling or moderaty lowered cars, they just want to be low, or in this guys case, low and hella flush.

You can absolutely slam with skun2 ps v2s. That's what I have on my teg. I also have discontinued 2 inch drop forks. Hypercoil sells a 4 inch 2 1/2 inch diameter spring for coilovers. Obviously you'll have to ruin the preload. It qont ride as well but still not terrible. Just research and don't purchase anything uneccesary bc wanting to be slammed and flush without a lot of research and knowing what your buying can cause you to end up spending twice as much as needed.

have you ever slammed a car on skunk2 springs and sleeves with koni yellows, they're not comfy at all, SUPER bouncy!

Skunk2 coilovers aren't comfty to began with. When my car was slammed my *** would pop of the seat on bad bumps. ****ing back breaking ride, even when at a mild drop, they still ride like ***.

Yes, I've ridden in a car with skunk2's and koni's. Still road bad, BUT, that is much more dependant on the spring rates.

I ran just my skunk2 650lb 8in spring on stock shocks. No adjuster.

I know someone who did pull the springs are ran only the shock, w/ bump stop. It wasn't drivable.

dont do coil sleeve*lol sry. koni/gc is the only worthwhile set up with a sleeve application. other than that full coilover wins anyday. but koni/gc run more than a lot of full coilover.

function n forms run about 550 and on most cars they will slammmm.

Please explain why you think a "full coilover" is any better.

The reason why Koni/gc runs a lot more, is becuase it's better!
